Sex/Intimacy Therapy
$ 125 for Individuals and $150 for Couples (plus tax)

It is not shameful or too taboo to ask for help regarding intimacy and sex.

Sex and Intimacy Therapy is more specific to the needs of the individual or the couple. We can still discuss topics related to traditional therapy, however, the majority will be focused on sex-related concerns. Those concerns for example include sexual functioning, anxiety around sex, women's health-specific topics, as well as, relationship dynamics, intimacy in general, and communication. Sex therapy can help improve sexual connection, provide resources to help with various concerns, and address issues around intimacy within a relationship. As well, psychoeducation is a huge piece of the puzzle that can help remove the myths and confusions around sexual health and intimacy in general. If you are ready to start contact us today for more information or to book a free consultation today.

How does Sex/Intimacy Therapy work?

Many often find it hard to discuss sex or sexual based topics, even when with their partner or a stranger (the therapist). Sex/Intimacy therapy is unique as is provides a safe and open environment free of judgment for you or you as a couple or individual to discuss sex and intimacy. Nothing is off-limits or too taboo to discuss. I am here to help you not to judge you.

Once an open space has been developed (usually this doesn't take much longer than the first half of a session) we will discuss any issues, concerns, or hurts regarding intimacy within the relationship. This helps to establish a complete view of the sexual health within the relationship. We will work together to help uncover your preferences around sex, and also work to be able to express your wants, needs, and dislikes openly without judgement. For sex therapy to truly be effective there needs to be a good level of honest, vulnerability, authenticity, lack of judgment, and sensitivity to the partners feelings. We will set goals together and find the best method to reach those goals.
